I am Paul van Assen. Freelance software engineer, solution architect and model train enthosiast. The same detail I put in my work I try to put in my dioramas.
Freelance & Software engineer and solution architect.
I have started my career as a backend web developer before dabbling into the world of finance in 2010. I've made some sidesteps into energy networks and rail infra but I keep on coming back to finance.
Recently I transitioned from software engineer into solution architect. So far it has been a challanging but very interesting journey, taking much more factors into consideration then when just developing.
